The graceful pedestrian bridge over the Bocholt-Herentals canal forms a unique link between two nature reserves: the Lommel Sahara and Blekerheide. The modern bridge construction is also a familiar resting place for cyclists making their way along the canal.
This unique pedestrian bridge is located right on the bike path to Blauwe Kei, and is an extra attraction for both cyclists and walkers. Its S-shape, formed from a combination of steel and wood, suspended from two steel pylons, almost completely immerses the pedestrian bridge in the surrounding greenery.
